Which night this fall will you find Cole Street open to traffic? Between October 31 and December 18, 2026, the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce has a Cole Street event listed in every week except one. The bigger nights run through Friday evenings, not Saturdays.
Through November, the events land on Saturday afternoons. After Thanksgiving, downtown switches to Friday evenings, with a market under a tent, snow, and fire tables. The one quiet weekend falls just before the holiday.
The calendar, in order
Here is the run as the Chamber's 2026 events page and its homepage list it.

Apart from the ongoing toy drive, no Cole Street event is listed for the weekend of November 21, the last weekend before Thanksgiving. December 4 and 5 put a Frosty Friday and the Santa Parade on back-to-back nights.
November's Saturdays set the pattern
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and the Chamber's Trick or Treat on Cole runs from 4 to 6 p.m., with downtown businesses and pop-up booths handing out candy. The Chamber's event page lists the closure two ways. The road closure note says Cole Street will close from Myrtle to Marshall, while its setup instructions further down give Monroe to Marshall. If you park near the Monroe end, assume you may be inside the closed stretch.
A week later the street turns over to the ski and snowboard crowd. The Winter Stoke Block Party runs from 4 to 8 p.m. on November 7 along Cole Street. It's free and open to all ages. The Chamber lists a beer garden, food trucks, vendors, live music, ski and board waxing, marshmallow roasting, contests, and a drawing for gear. The Chamber's homepage calendar lists it as the Winter Stoke Block Party with Crystal Mountain Resort on November 7, 2026. Neither that listing nor the event page, which carries only a Crystal Mountain hashtag, says what part the resort plays.
The Wine Walk on November 14 is the only ticketed night in the run. According to the Chamber's ticket page:
- General admission is $45 and includes a tasting glass, 10 tasting tickets, and a passport.
- Day-of tickets rise to $55.
- Check-in and day-of sales open at 4:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office or at Dr. Ossman/Harding's office.
- General tasting runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with a DJ on Cole Street and pop-up vendors.
The Chamber's own event list gives the Wine Walk as 4 to 6 p.m., which doesn't match the ticket page. The ticket page has the full check-in and tasting schedule, so it's the better guide. The Chamber also mentions an early-access lounge option on its Wine Walk page. The participating tasting stops hadn't been posted as of this writing.
After Thanksgiving, the street runs on Fridays
The season changes on November 27, the day after Thanksgiving, when the Chamber pairs the City Tree Lighting with the first Frosty Friday. The 2026 listing doesn't name a location for the lighting. Last year the City held the ceremony at City Hall, with caroling and cocoa at 5:30 p.m. and the lighting at 6. That's a useful guide, but the City hasn't confirmed it for this year.
The Frosty Fridays that follow are the biggest format of the season. The City of Enumclaw's calendar describes them as a holiday night market on Cole Street from Myrtle to the tent, with vendors, food, live music, Santa pictures, fire tables, and snow, from 4 to 8 p.m. The City lists that schedule for December 11 and December 18. The Chamber lists the same Fridays at 6:30 p.m. Neither source explains the gap. It's possible 6:30 marks a specific part of the evening inside the City's four-hour window, but neither calendar says so. Arriving by 4 covers both.
This is a change from two years ago. The City's calendar entry for Snow on Cole on December 21, 2024, a Saturday, described a tree lighting, fire pits, a meet-and-greet with Christmas characters, and local makers. It ran from 4 to 6 p.m. on the stretch of Cole from Stevenson to Myrtle. The 2026 version is listed on several Friday nights, runs twice as long on the City calendar, and is set on the Myrtle side of the street.
The Saturday in the middle of December belongs to the parade. Enumclaw's 60th Annual Santa Parade starts at 6 p.m. on December 5. The route hasn't been published. Because it follows the December 4 Frosty Friday by less than a day, downtown has events two evenings in a row that weekend. The Holiday Helping Hands toy drive runs alongside all of this, from November 20 through December 13.
Eating before the street fills up
With most of these events starting at 4 p.m. or later, dinner is the main planning question. Enumclaw.com's walking guide to Cole Street, published September 15, 2026, measures everything from the corner of Cole Street and Griffin Avenue. It lists hours as each business stated them in mid-September.
On Cole, closest to the action:
- The Historic Mint Restaurant and Alehouse, 1608 Cole Street. Twenty-eight taps by its own count, and a history the business dates to 1906. It's open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 on Friday and Saturday, so it stays open past the end of every Frosty Friday.
- Rainier Bar & Grill, 1623 Cole Street. Across the street, with clam chowder, fish and chips, steamer clams, and coconut curry mussels on the menu. Open 11 to 9, seven days.
- Trapper's Sushi Co., 1537 Cole Street. On the ground floor of the Jensen Building, dated to 1915 by one listing. Open 11 to 9 daily, with a Friday and Saturday happy hour from 8 to 9 p.m., which happens to line up with the end of a Frosty Friday or the Wine Walk.
- Roaring Underground, 1528 Cole Street. A Prohibition-themed cocktail bar for guests 21 and over, behind a barware boutique. You need a daily password, posted on its social channels or on a chalkboard out front. Its own site lists 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, but other listings disagree.
A short walk off Cole:
- Tim's Kitchen, 1110 Griffin Avenue. Fried chicken, chicken-fried steak, burgers, and a salad bar, open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, including the Frosty Friday nights.
- El Ranchito, 1000 Griffin Avenue. Inside the GuestHouse Inn, open noon to 9 daily.
- Pursuit Distilling Co., 1730 Railroad Street. A tasting room with spirits, cocktails, and food. Weekly hours are posted on its site, but its event calendar showed nothing upcoming as of October 11.
For the morning after the parade, The Kettle at 1666 Garrett Street opens at 6 a.m. and serves breakfast until 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
The same guide notes that Jackson's, Cole Street Brewery, and Kelly's at 1444 Cole are listed as closed this year, as are the Thai restaurants that used to share 1240 Griffin. If your usual stop for a Snow on Cole night was one of those, plan on a different one this year.
There's also a new shop on the street since last holiday season. Esa's Dirty Plant Mix opened at 1362 Cole Street in June 2026, selling houseplants, carnivorous plants, and its own soil blend. Enumclaw.com reported that it opens Thursday through Monday, so it's open on every Friday and Saturday in this lineup.
Parking on a closure night
Curbside parking downtown is free, with a three-hour limit. For the nights Cole is full, the Enumclaw.com guide points to two city lots. One is on Cole between Initial and Stevenson, and the other is on Railroad Street between Griffin and Stevenson. The three-hour limit also matters on Frosty Friday nights, since the City lists four hours of programming.
The Chamber and the City have each posted the season, and their details don't always match. The tree lighting location, the parade route, the Wine Walk tasting stops, and the Frosty Friday start time are all still unconfirmed as of October 12. Check the City's calendar and the Chamber's page the week of each event.
